چکیده

This study focused on the mechanical and morphological properties of lignocellulosic heritage textiles (cotton hemp) made using eco-friendly salvia thyme microencapsulated essential oils, characterized by low toxicity for humans environment. A evaluation tested fabrics was performed scanning electron microscopy. The ATR–FTIR spectra untreated treated fabric samples were Perkin Elmer, Spectrum 3. tensile test conducted based ISO 13934-1 a MESDAN-Lab strength tester. According to analysis, improved 20% 39% in warp weft directions, respectively. data cotton, hemp, with processed kernel PCA method. From principal component analysis it found that textile coalesced close ones. shows treatment oils from indicated plant does not significantly affect fabrics. thymol-treated distant those control sample. Physical, mechanical and barrier properties of corn starch films incorporated with plant essential oils.

Corn starch-based films are inherently brittle and lack the necessary mechanical integrity for conventional packaging. However, the incorporation of additives can potentially improve the mechanical properties and processability of starch films. In this work two essential oils, Zataria multiflora Boiss (ZEO) or Mentha pulegium (MEO) at three levels (1%, 2% and 3% (v/v)), were incorporated into s...

Biodegradation of Three Cellulosic Fabrics in Soil

The cellulosic fabrics cotton, rayon, and Tencel® are commonly used in the textile industry (Kroschwitz, 1990). The chemical composition of the fabrics is similar, but they differ in the arrangement of the cellulose polymers in the fabrics (Collier and Tortora, 2001). The basic polymer for all cellulosic fibers consists of repeating glucose units. For the cotton fabric, the cellulosic polymers ...
